Itinerary: Kashmir – Where Every Family Moment Feels Like a Dream
Day 1: Srinagar – Arrival
Arrive in Srinagar, where you will be warmly greeted at the airport. After your meet-and-greet, transfer to your hotel for check-in and relax. Spend the evening acclimatizing and take a leisurely stroll around the iconic Dal Lake. Enjoy the peaceful surroundings and beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 2: Srinagar to Sonamarg – Day Trip
After an early breakfast, drive to Sonamarg, one of the most scenic spots in Kashmir. The drive, covering a distance of 80 km in about 2.5 hours, takes you through beautiful landscapes, and we will stop at several picturesque spots along the way. Once in Sonamarg, enjoy a horse ride to Thajiwas Glacier, a place where snow remains year-round. Known as the “Gateway to Ladakh,” Sonamarg offers spectacular views. After exploring, return to Srinagar in the evening for an overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 3: Srinagar to Gulmarg – Day Trip
Post breakfast, embark on a drive to Gulmarg, the “Meadows of Flowers,” located 2730 meters above sea level. The 60 km journey takes about 2 hours, and you’ll be treated to breathtaking views. Gulmarg is famous for its ski slopes and the highest 18-hole golf course in the world. On clear days, you can even get a view of Nanga Parbat. Don’t miss a ride on the Gondola, which offers panoramic views of the area, and enjoy a thrilling sledge ride on the snow. Return to Srinagar in the evening for an overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 4: Srinagar to Pahalgam – Transfer and Sightseeing
After breakfast, drive to Pahalgam, known as the “Valley of Shepherds.” En route, visit the Awantipura Ruins, remnants of a 1100-year-old temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Day 5: Pahalgam to Srinagar – Transfer and Srinagar Sightseeing
After breakfast, return to Srinagar. Spend the day visiting the famous Mughal Gardens, including Nishat Bagh (the Garden of Pleasure), Shalimar Bagh (Abode of Love), and Cheshma Shahi. Visit the ancient Shankaracharya Temple for a panoramic view of the city.
